STREATOR – Streator is getting its parks ready for the warmer weather. City Engineer Jeremy Palm says dirt leveling work and more seating are in the plans for Central, Oakland and Marilla parks. New swings for Central Park were recommended by the Parks and Open Spaces Committee to be decided on in the future. Palm says now that the weather is nicer, extra equipment from Sherman School will also be installed at Central Park in two months time.
