PERU – The Peru City Council voted to move forward with an ordinance granting conditional approval of a preliminary plan for the Peru Mall property as sought by GK Real Estate. The Crossroads at Peru, as Chicago based company is calling the property, will be revamped into an apartment complex plus a shopping and dining center. The council voted almost unanimously, 7 to 1, to move forward with special use permits and zoning variances for the project.
